Neo Yoga Center is dedicated to teaching Yoga through our different Yoga Retreats and Yoga Teacher Training programs, the course appropriate for beginners as well as for advanced yoga practitioners. We are also dedicated to teaching different Holistic Living practices. The courses offered by us are Yoga based and include different studies in Ayurveda that we believe are integral and inter-dependent to one another.

Akhilesh Bodhi ( Founder & Yoga teacher)

He and his brother had to work hard in his family business. As soon as he finished his school, he had to rush to work in his Family restaurant. By mistake if he was late he would get the stick on his butt.

He completed his studies from Lucknow University. While his studies, he was motivated with politics, during his studies he was very much active in University as well as in local politics. He contested also a Local election,

But that was not his destiny. He saw an advertisement about Sanskrit and Vedanta course in Himalaya, some how he was driven to this course not knowing what it was what it can add to his life. He has been discussing about this with his friend but none of them knew what Vedanta is.Anyways after the interview he was selected for two years’ residential course.

Without informing his family and friend he left to Himalaya and Joined Chinmaya Tapovan Asharm for two years in Dharmsala Himanchal Pradesh,

He was completely forgot any to correspond with his family, after six months when he told that he is in ashram, his family inform him that your mother is Hospitalizes and whole family has been searching all over.

He come back to see his mother but could not stay for long though his family wanted to do any thing for him but one day he again left his crying family.

When his Mother and father passed away he felt regret that he could have stayed home for his mother sake but it was late and he has his own destiny to fulfilled.

After two year of studies he left to pilgrimage to North of India to Himalayanregion Utterkashi, Gangotry, Kedarnath, Badrinath as mendicant begging for food to experience how the existence can take care of him and it was great experience even one time He was walk from Utterkashi to Gangotri on foot he

Lost his way in the Himalaya, no Village no road sun was setting darkness started, the wind started blowing fast, he took sort cut and some how ended up in small house, the house lady was living alone with her daughter and had no food to offer me but she gave one bread{Chapatti} and coriander sauce so he could appease his hunger, it was dark and there was deep forest so she offers him shelter just one blanket so he could

not sleep because it was too cold for one blanket, so came out from the hut it was pitch dark and stars were shining. They seem like as though they came down, so bright and big, the sound of pine trees and sound of the creaked was traveling in between the deep silence he still remember that wonderful night and feels so thankful to that lady who had just one bread she had no wheat flower to make more chapatti. So he went to next village beg the wheat and brought and gave her. He can not forget this beautiful hospitality and love that night.

After few years of wondering he Met Swami Dayananda Saraswati, a scholar of Sanskrit and Vedantahe had school in Coimbatore in Tamilnadu. Akhilesh completed three year course of Vedanta Philosophy and started teaching.

Along with that he also completed Yoga Training at Siyanda Ashram in Kerala, also studied at Vivekananda Kendra Bangalore,

Then he started learning Iyengar yoga went to Iyengar Institute in Pune. Studies with Geeta Iyengar, Prashant Iyengar Also been trained with Ramananda Patel

At some Point he was very much Influence with OSHO’s teaching and his mediations he many yeas keep going to OSHO international community, Pune and took Sanyas in OSHO tradition {which very different from Traditional Sanyas.}

He has opened his school called Neo Yoga center in Dharamsala has been teaching regularly there since 1999.

2003 he has first time travel to Moscow Russia to give one month training at Monolith club. Then he has been frequently travel to Switzerland, Sweden, Netherlands, Germany, Austria etc.

He Started giving Yoga Teacher training since 2009, in his super vision he has taught almost 20 successful 200 AND 300 HOURS training’s around the world with collaboration with Ashiyana Yoga Center, Mahi Yoga Centre, Siddhi Yoga.

Swami Prabodh Chaithanya

Chandrababu, Prabodh Chaithanya, holds a Master Degree in the field of English literature and he has studied Sanskrit and Vedanta under instructions of Swami HH Bodhananda Saraswathi of Chinmaya Mission.  So, during this particular time he took his Bramacharya commencement from Swami HH Chinmayanandaji. After his commencement Prabodh Chaithanya continued his studies of Upanishads, Brahmasutra and Bhagavat Gita under the great guidance of Swami HH Dayananada Saraswathi.

Just after that he lived in Varanasi and Rishikesh as the mendicant and conducted vedanta and meditation classes for his aspirants. He is now teaching for Neo Yoga Center. He lives at Haripad and runs Gurukulam together with managing one orphanage. He is an expert Spiritual teacher and Yoga Trainer, with a special knowledge in the area of meditation, psychology and philosophy of Yoga-Vedanta. He has become a part of our own Ayur Yoga family. Swami Shiva Bharma Saraswati

He spent three years on the banks of Narmada river doing penance. Following that he joined Arsha vidya peetham, Rishikesh where he completed the three year vedanta course conducted by Dayananda ashram from 2003 to 2006. After the course pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati sent him to the tribal belt in Madhya Pradesh to start a free student home. He spent three years managing the student home. After that he was appointed as the Regional coordinator for AIM for Seva Uttarakhand student Homes.

With a degree in dance I traveled to India to discover my Indian roots and my spiritual being was discovered. I trained in Indian martial arts, Kalari and traditional Indian dance. I have been a professional dancer for the past 7 year touring internationally to the far east and Europe. AcroYoga has been a true blessing in my life, it is a truly beautiful practice that purifies my soul and reignites my spirit. Aacharya Sudama

His Yoga Guru Swami Vijñānananda Sarasvati (The direct disciple of Swami Yogeśvarananda Sarasvati – The founder father of Yoga Niketan Trust) awarded him with a Title of “HATHA YOGACHARYA”, the master of Hatha Yoga, with the certificate of the tradition.

He was appointed as the main teacher in Yoga Niketan Ashram, Rishikesh, Himalaya. Further, he completed the four years Sansakrit study from Sampurnananda University at the branch of Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh and Yoga certificate course from Gurukul Kangari University, Haridwar. Savitri teaching at neo yoga baliSavitri Rathore is the wife of Acharya Sudam Rathore; was born in South Korea and had an inspiration in Yoga by her mother in childhood. After undergoing a Yoga Teacher Training Course in Seoul, Korea in 2003, a curiosity for in-depth knowledge in Yoga and Spirituality brought her to India. Since then, she has been studying and practicing Yoga, Indian culture and philosophy under the guidance of Acharya Sudam Rathore and her Guru, Swami Atulanandai.

After completing a Master’s degree in Science of Yoga (M.Sc) from Swami Vivekananda Yoga University in Bangalore in 2009, she started to teach Yoga more in holistic and therapeutic aspect, inspiring practitioners and guiding yoga teachers. Since then she has been actively working as a Yoga teacher, Yoga therapist, lecturer, director, and coordinator in various places such as Yoga centers, universities, institutions and for Yoga seminars and workshops throughout India, Korea and Russia. Her very interest is “Women in modern society & the role of Yoga”.

Yogi Umesh Anand

handling group classes and personal classes on Hatha yoga and astanga yoga. Receive training in Thai massage and Swedish massage while working with Ananda in the Himalayas & attended Therapies workshop at Hotel Ananda in the Himalayas.

Raghav Kumar

Raghav Kumar comes from a family lineage steeped in the Vedic tradition – a background which has guided him & shaped his spiritual pursuits. He is committed to leading a life dedicated to self-enquiry (Atma-vichara) along the lines of Yoga and particularly Vedanta. After a stint in the corporate sector, he began a full-time pursuit of sadhana (spiritual disciplines) and charitable service to underprivileged sections of Indian society through the Ramakrishna Mission organization.
In 2001, Raghav first traveled the Himalayas, to Uttarkashi & Rishikesh, where he studied Sanskrit, Vedanta and Yoga Philosophy under the guidance of Swami Dayananda Saraswati and also other respected spiritual teachers connected with the Kailash Ashram tradition. Since 2004, he has been dividing his time between Uttarkashi in the Himalayas, Thiruvannamalai in Southern India near the ashram of Sri Ramana Maharshi, and teaching Yoga philosophy and Vedanta. He will be leading the meditations and also teach advanced yoga philosophy classes in the teacher training.

Dr. Sharada

Dr. Sharada has dedicated her life to the study of Holistic Medicine. After graduating as a medical doctor in the Indian systems of Medicine, she did her post-grad in Western Physiology and went on to teach aspiring doctors in an allopathic medical school for eight years. She also holds a post-graduate degree in modern Psychology and Counseling, and has taught as guest faculty at a medical University in Canada. Her background in both modern western and traditional holistic medicine, psychology and physiology makes her acutely aware of the need for Yoga, ayurveda and holistic medicine and also some inherent limitations of the modern allopathic medical approach to human health and well-being. Dr. Sharada has also been a long-time student of Indian Spiritual traditions and loves to help and heal people and share her knowledge of Yoga anatomy, physiology, Ayurveda and holistic health care.


Yoga is my passion and profession, but more then that it is my life-style. I aim to educate, teach and increase awareness on how to live an active, disease-free life. Through intention, meditation, pranayama and asana my goal is to have my students leave each class feeling stronger, refreshed and empowered.
